Get Involved We would like as many public areas, communities and places of work to have publically accessible defibrillators. These are placed in a cabinet so they can be accessed 24 hours a day by anybody who needs to use one. In an emergency, the cabinet is accessed via a code, given to you by the ambulance service when you make a 999 call. If you are interested in having a defibrillator in your place of work or community, please get in touch with us. We can organise for your staff, visitors and anyone else that is willing, to learn how to use a defibrillator as well as basic life support skills. Click here to find out more. In addition, CPR & AED courses, run by the NW Ambulance Service are available. If you are interested in joining a course, or creating one for a group of friends or work mates, please contact us.
